So I've decided, for the sake of not growing tired of either plan (vegan vs. cookie diet) to alternate between the two.
That way, but the time I grow sick of one, I'll embark on the other. This will go on until my first weight loss goal of 160 by September 25 2010. (important date, will explain later)
Did I mention that my diet will work in conjunction with an active life-style?
So yea, I will be walking an hour a day on weekdays and a minimum of two a day on week-ends.
If I can add to that my couch to 5k plan (which I paused when the weather got humid in the EXTREME) then it would be great, but that remains to be seen.
(I hope you're not reading this Prich, if you are - I was only kidding!)
Joking aside, I may need to find an alternative to the jogging program until the weather cools down.
Perhaps restart my Jillian Michael's 30 day shred? Yes, that's what I'll do, 20 pounds a month for 2 and a half months is FANTASTIC!
…to be continued...

Vegan or Cookie Diet?
So for the weight loss program, I've decided to go for a no-brainer, I want to keep it as simple as I possibly can and will follow one simple rule: If I were the only human on the face of the planet, and electricity, stoves and fridges didn’t exist, what could I eat? The answer is simple: fruits and vegetables. Maybe I’d find some almonds and grains here and there to munch on, and if I were really clever, I might even manage to milk a cow (preferably a skinny one) and then possibly attempt building fire (does one build a fire?) by oscillating wood and as luck would have i might also find a pot-looking object to boil the milk in to then add the coffee beans found stashed somewhere which I managed to grind with this neat looking tool I carved with a chisel I had found laying by the cow... (ok so maybe I’m stretching it just a tad, but will a ‘Starbucks Skinny Latte’ every now and again really be the cause of my downfall people? I think not!
Or I can go follow Dr. Sass's cookie diet i hear so much about. I like both ideas because they are simple, no rules can be broken, no calories surpassed.
I think I'll sleep on it for tonight, but would love to hear your thoughts, shall i go Vegan style, or cookie monster style?
Gnight :)

Introduction
So at the age of 33, the sentence I have most often heard spoken to me, has been: "You have such a pretty face, why don’t you try and lose the weight?' Now what has kept this sentence interesting to me over the years, has of course been the many variations in tone it can be said in and they honestly vary anywhere from: deeply concerned (parents and loved ones), deeply puzzled (friends and colleagues), to deeply condescending (anybody else really).
How could one tell the difference?
Admittedly, the different tones in which the words are uttered can go unnoticed to the normal, unsuspecting ear, but if you’ve been fat most of your life, the intent is quite unmistakable.
Anywaaay, let’s leave the past in the past, and fast forward to the blog.
So 33 years old... - that is eight years older than the original 25 I had planned (at the tender age of 7) to be married at, and three years older than the original 30 I had planned on retiring from childbirth, with daughter number three might i add. So yea, way behind!
So here’s the single most important obstacle between me and my goal: *No man will marry you - or at least get to know you know with the intent of marrying you - If you are fat anywhere past being described as ‘voluptuous’ and I don’t care how pretty your face is!
Hence - the start of weight-loss program!
*All right, i know what you sceptics are thinking, i too have spotted the handful of fine looking men strolling hand in hand with their fat girlfriends/fiancees/wives but how common are those men i ask you? Right, that's what i thought! ;)
W-L program coming up tomorrow -
Gnight everyone :)
